[NIFL-WORKPLACE] Assessment tools

The Board is wanting to revamp the system. They think
it is a good idea to test every single person who
works in the workforce center, even the ES clients.
They want to do this on everyone who just comes in to
use the computers. They think that doing a work
assessment skill on people looking for jobs will give
them a better chance of finding a job. I don't work
for the Board.

I feel as if something like this is implemented that
we will have less people coming to the center. Some
people like to be assessed, but some people want to
just come in and use the computers to do job search.
However, I think they are going to make it a
requirment of their RFP.

I was told by my boss to do research on all different
kinds of assessments. Of course, I do what I am told
to do, but I just feel that it can cause people not to
want to come into the center.

What do you think?
