I will forward your email to Shirley Penn, who wrote about the meatpacking
industry for the Workplace Education issue of "Focus on Basics" Volume 7B

We are looking for high-beginning to low-intermediate ESL materials that
have been used with or can be modified for workers in the meatpacking
industry. We are thinking industry-specific, not just basic ESL. Also, if
you have experience with this learner population, we'd be grateful for any
information you could share about your approach, materials, documentation of
learner gains, and "I wish I'd known"s.

Thank you in advance.
