NIFL Workplace Colleagues,

Earlier this year I posted an announcement here about the Adult Literacy
Education Wiki, a web area which links practitioner and research
questions to professional wisdom and research.. I want to let you know
that the Worker and Workplace Education and Workforce Development
sections are there now, and are being added to each week. I have just
added to each of these areas postings from discussions which have taken
place here on the NIFL-Workplace discussion list this year. They
include questions and answers on cultural sensitivity and on workforce
readiness assessments.

I hope you will visit these areas on the ALE Wiki and, if you like,
register and then add to the content there. Registration is simple and
free.Adding content is easy. You'll find directions for registration
(not required to view the ALE Wiki, only to add to it), and answers to
other questions about the ALE Wiki linked from the main page at

http://wiki.literacytent.org

You'll find Workforce Development at

http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/AleWorkforceDevelopment

and Worker and Workplace Education at

http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/AleWorkplace
