Please note that NPR did an early morning Education story today titled
"Bush Education Cuts Jeopardize GED Programs." It was part of the NPR
Morning Edition. It had to do with how the administration's plans to cut
adult education programs could/would be a blow to unemployed mill workers
in North Carolina trying to get back into the workforce. When I checked the
NPR web site, the piece was not yet available as a textual transcript, but
I gather it will be. Meantime, an audio report is available at the NPR site.
