Paul & Others:

We would be interested in participating.

Not only generically but with version 2.x of English on the Job we will be
web deliverable and other development capabilities that will provide
multiple benefits tot he learner.

And, we have a local prospect who wants to do a kiosk for multiple level
English language learners.

Thanks,

Barry Baer

Subject: [NIFL-WORKPLACE] grant proposal inquiry

I am doing some research on obtaining grants to set up
an ESL or VESL computer kiosk/library, and would
appreciate any feedback.
Basically, the project will include setting up
computer labs to log on to the various ESL web sites
offered, including my own, pumarosa.com.
Plus, a lending library consisting of texts,
dictionaries, audios/cds, videos/dvds, etc.
I think that employment agencies as well as many
companies would be eligible for grant money to run a
project like this.
I know that there are government grants already
available to companies who would like to provide ESL
and VESL programs to their employees.
And there are also places to obtain free computers or
used computers at a low price.
At this point, I am only gathering the information so
that I can make it available to those interested.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
