It has seemed to me that there has not been as much response to nor 
publicity about the NAAL results as I would have hoped for.  The timing of 
the release, shortly before the holidays and in the rush that precedes, may 
be a contributing factor.   I thought you might like to know that
the National Institute for Literacy is now keeping track of media responses 
to the NAAL results on its News Flashes page. Please go to:
