[Workplace] Customer Service for ESLBarbara Tondre btondre at earthlink.netWed Jan 25 11:41:38 EST 2006
David, thank you for offering to put a list together. It seems that many of us across the country are having to respond to the needs of English language learners and the customer service industry. Here in Texas, we have a legislative mandate to provide instructional support in response to targeted industries; hospitality/customer service is just one of them. I wonder if you -- and others here -- have recommendations of other _online_ work- contextualized basic skills curriculum or materials in English. If so, let me know, and I will put a list together and send it back to this discussion list. David J.
