Workplace Peer Educators,

Below is an announcement about the National Workplace Peer Conference which 
will be a Pre-Conference at COABE this year.  An invitation for presenters 
came attached which I will forward, but attachments often do not go through 
on the discussion list.  Please e-mail me off-list if you would like for me 
to forward the attachment to you personally.

This conference is a very informal networking opportunity where we can 
share the best that each has to offer.  It will be worth your time, and we 
hope you will want to be a part of it. We need each of you sharing your 
expertise.

The Power of Sharing: National Workplace Education Peer Session

The National Workplace Education Peer pre-conference is a super way for 
Adult Education practitioners who deliver successful workplace programs to 
fly together. The format is very informal and allows quality time to 
network ideas that work, collaboratively plan on how to help each other 
powerfully implement best practices and discuss with the USDOE ways that 
the federal and state initiatives could be better coordinated relative to 
workplace program.

There are limited slots available for the afternoon panel discussion. 
Topics can include:

- ESL in the Workplace
- Reporting Workplace ED Learning Outcomes
- Addressing Learning Disabilities in Workplace Ed
- Professional Development for Workplace Educators
- Workplace Ed...Finding the Right Tools
- Return on Investment for Workplace Ed
