Hi: haven't asked the list a question for years, so hi to those who
used to know me! I wonder if someone is familiar with a really nice
article written some years ago dealing with written documentation in
the care sector: there used to be one book of notes in the old
people's home in question but since someone died in strange
circumstances they had to keep records separately for each resident
each night so it got very disjointed and the language used became
formulaic. . . That's more or less what i recall from the article.
Does it ring any bells for someone? It would be great to have the
reference- or a full text would be icing on the cake. . . Thanks so
much - Fiona Frank, Lancaster University, UK. Part time tutor on MA in
ALNE (among other things)
