Subject: [Workplace 501] Workplace Literacy

Hello to All List Members,

I am new to the list and have been charged with
writing a pilot proposal to begin offering Literacy Services, mainly
ESL, on site with many of the employers we currently work with here in
NYC. I am certainly glad to see that this is a discussion that has been
on the minds of many of you on the list serve but, I would love to know
if anyone on the list has a model that is currently working that they
would be willing to share with me as I begin to work on this issue. If
there is such a document of even bulleted pointers about implementation,
service models, employer buy-in and investment, curriculum development,
etc that would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Leonard E. Battle
