Thank you for the warm greeting.
My interest is in literacy in all its forms and I am responsible for the
development and implementation of literacy projects in the Tairawhiti
region, New Zealand. One of my particular interests is workplace
literacy and I am now just putting the finishing touches on my master's
thesis; Workplace literacy programmes- their outcomes and impacts. A
second area of interest is Family Literacy, we ran our first programme
last year and have two more to develop this year. The outcomes from
these programmes can be life changing, not only for the participants,
but for all of us who are somehow involved with these people. 
I haven't yet had time to participate in any of the discussions, but I
am looking forward to getting time to read and contribute.
