Mona, what a unique approach!  How did you go about getting the college
to agree to this use of the scholarships?  Timmie, we just now have
ready for release a handbook for AE program administrators new to the
world of providing work-based instructional services;  included is some
discussion of how to set up an account for fees for services.  As soon
as our state director gives me the go ahead, I'll try to make sure you
get a copy or can access it online - not sure which way we're going at
this point.  The second handbook will focus on instructional delivery /
teacher prep.  Hope to have it ready for release this summer.

We have started a Workplace Pathways model to help get incumbants
promoted within their organization.  The way we are working this is that
the College, through a foundation used for scholarships pays tuition and
books upfront, but when the student completes a class, the company is
billed. Should the student drop the class, the College is out the money.
Pretty novel idea - but it is a win-win for the company, and we will see
how many students do not complete.  The cohort is under 20 students.
