Workplace Literacy Discussion List Members, Because we have many new members who have joined the list this week, an explanation of "Thursday Resources" is in order. During the course of a week, I usually come across several resources that may be of interest to our list members. I bundle all of these resources into one e-mail and send it out with the "Thursday Resources" subject line. In most cases, the source of my information is given with a link to that website, an abstract from the source is included, and a live link to the resource itself is provided. One warning that I usually give is that long URLs frequently get split onto two lines when you get them in your e-mail message, and you may have to cut and paste the two parts back together in your browser address window in order to access the resource. That said, it turns out that there is only one resource to announce this week. That's unusual, but maybe good on a week that we had so many other resources and thinking shared in our discussion. There are several additional discussions on other lists scheduled for next week, and I plan to send out an announcement about all of them tomorrow. So here is this week's resource.
