Hi Laurie, Amber and others, This is an interest of mine as well. There is a discussion of a concurrent program at the College of Lake County in Illinois in a report that I wrote with Forrest Chisman. It combines vocational training in a number of areas with VESL courses. The program is provided at the community college, however, not at the workplace. The report, Passing the Torch, can be downloaded from the website at www.caalusa.org I am especially interested in learning more about programs like these--either at educational institutions or at the workplace--for health-related careers.
