My name is Jennifer Sheppard, and I am the coordinator of the
Philadelphia Professional Development Center (PPDC) for the Mayor's
Commission on Literacy (MCOL).  I have joined this Discussion List to
keep abreast of the latest developments in workforce education, to
"listen" to my fellow practitioners' ideas and opinions, and to have the
opportunity to ask questions of and receive feedback from my fellows in
