| ARCS (The Adult Reading Components Study): | ||
| The ARCS was conducted by researchers at the National Center for the
Study of Adult Learning and Literacy (NCSALL). Nearly 1000 adult learners
participated in the study, taking a variety of reading and language tests.
Using cluster analysis, ten different reading profiles were identified
from the results of these tests.
